The Blue Diamonds is inspired by the iconic No. 92 Sqn, the official aerobatic team of the RAF that amazed onlookers with their ‘diamond sixteen’ loop in 1961, when 16 blue Hawker Hunters formed a diamond formation in unison during air shows.

Capturing both the power and beauty of the Hunter’s Avon engine, the Avon Automatic features a mesmerising dial crafted with care, detail and precision. With performance and speed in mind, this timepiece pays tribute to renowned aerobatic squadrons who flew Hunters with style and panache.

A 44mm robustly manufactured steel case is topped by a domed sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating. The bezel and crown have been machined with a turbine inspired pattern, purposefully echoing the Avon engine.

Taking design cues straight from the Hunter’s engine and cockpit, a multi-layered see-through dial offering a view deep into the movement is framed by a serrated dial ring. The dial is finished with machined indexes and bold Flieger style hands, layered with Swiss lume for utmost legibility.

Showcasing an open-heart Japanese automatic movement, the Avon is a superb piece of timing technology boasting a power reserve of over 40 hours.

Completing the timepiece is an elegantly brushed H-link solid steel bracelet with deployant clasp expertly crafted for both style and comfort.
