But it is in Japan, that the Founder Daniel Niederer – a forty-something rock ‘n’ roll, turned to animate his watch with a mechanical movement Caliber 82S5, from the factory Miyota. Still in the spirit of “18th century machinery”, the crown to the left of the map and to the right of the watch is engraved with a traditional cogwheel, looking like a watchmaker’s cog …

CASE AND DETAILS

The dial of the S1 / 01 draws inspiration from this industrial wheel. It is made of stainless steel, and has six levels of silver, matte black, brushed discs and one of the discs is even composed of rhodium, a non-radioactive chemical component.

NFC CHIP

Paying attention to the back of the case, mentioned in the second paragraph, we note that the bottom of the box supporting the world map is slightly elevated.
